Singh completed his schooling at Mayo College, Ajmer, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune, and a Master’s in International Business from IIFT. After completing his education, he joined his family’s export business with the aim of helping it expand. However, he soon realized that his true calling lay elsewhere. Despite coming from a business family, he chose to step away from the conventional path and carve out his own identity.
It took years of hard work, market understanding, and in-depth learning about the F&B industry before he finally launched his dream venture in 2012 — Raasta, a Caribbean lounge designed to bring alive a more free-spirited and vibrant approach to life. Today, Raasta stands among the most popular and profitable nightlife destinations in the country.
Joy introduced Delhi to a Reggae-themed lounge at a time when the nightlife scene was dominated almost entirely by Bollywood and EDM music. He consciously went against the grain to offer Delhiites a completely fresh experience in terms of music, vibe, and culture. Raasta became a platform for discovering and nurturing young and emerging talent, introducing audiences to Reggae and several other alternative music genres.
Artists such as Nucleya, Reggae Rajahs, and Prabh Deep began their journeys with Raasta during their early days as resident performers. Over the years, Raasta has become an integral part of India’s evolving music and gig culture, consistently setting high standards since its inception.
Joy Singh played a major role in transforming Hauz Khas Village into one of Delhi’s most celebrated party destinations nearly a decade ago. With immense support and love from patrons across cities, Raasta expanded successfully to multiple locations including Cyber Hub, Gurgaon, and Khar, Mumbai. What makes the brand unique is its welcoming atmosphere and positive vibe that instantly makes guests feel at home.
At Raasta, regular visitors are treated like family, creating a sense of belonging that truly reflects the spirit of Reggae culture. A recipient of the Mid-Day Iconic Restaurateur Award, Joy firmly believes that hands-on involvement and personal attention from the owner are what truly set a hospitality brand apart. Known for his warm smile and approachable personality, he is often personally present at one of his outlets, connecting effortlessly with guests and patrons alike.
An IIFT alumnus, Joy believes that originality and patience are the two most essential qualities required to maintain the standards of a successful restaurant business. The growth of his self-funded ventures since 2012 stands as a testament to the power of passion, persistence, and hard work, especially considering that neither he nor his partners came from a traditional F&B background.

Raasta celebrates the free spirit of Rastafarian culture, which has millions of followers worldwide. The funky Caribbean lounge combines warm interiors with lush green surroundings to create an atmosphere inspired by the laid-back charm of the Caribbean islands. Staying true to its name, Raasta embraces the values of simplicity, love, and freedom.
The lounge pays tribute to legendary artists such as Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and Jimmy Cliff, who helped shape and popularize reggae music globally. Reggae remains the core music genre at Raasta, complemented by Dubstep and other alternative sounds that continue to redefine nightlife experiences across cities.

Yeti offers an authentic Himalayan dining experience with peaceful mountain-inspired interiors featuring Tibetan masks, mandalas, Buddhist prayer flags, and traditional décor elements that instantly create a calming atmosphere. The restaurant is widely appreciated for its home-style Himalayan cuisine, representing flavors from Tibet to Meghalaya.
Yeti’s philosophy is rooted in authenticity and sustainability, inspired by Himalayan communities that believe in minimizing food wastage. The menu thoughtfully incorporates traditional dishes such as Nepali Bhutun, Tibetan Cheley, Shabalay, Thentuk, “Kothe” Styled Momo, Newari Momo Cha, and Yomari — a traditional sweet dumpling.

Café Loco is an all-day breakfast destination created in collaboration with celebrated chef Meherwan Bawa. Designed as a vibrant, community-focused space, Café Loco celebrates the idea that breakfast is not merely a meal, but a feeling and lifestyle that can be enjoyed throughout the day.
The menu blends comfort with creativity, offering indulgent signatures like “3Some Eggs” and “Egg Slut,” alongside fresh and wholesome options such as smoothie berry bowls and innovative small plates. The concept embraces bold cross-cultural flavors through dishes like Khattapam Benedicts, inventive kulchas, and hybrid flatbreads that bridge the gap between breakfast and comfort food.
Complementing the food menu is a thoughtfully curated coffee program that caters to both coffee enthusiasts and casual drinkers. Guests can enjoy everything from classic espresso beverages to cold brews, Vietnamese coffee, pour-over methods, Chemex, and French press preparations, making Café Loco an ideal space to work, meet, relax, or simply unwind.

Founded in August 2014 with just five children practicing on a half-court, Dribble Academy Foundation has now grown into an organization with over 1,500 students developing into disciplined student-athletes. Starting from a small village in Noida, the academy today trains boys and girls between the ages of four and fifteen across three Indian states.
The academy focuses on holistic child development through sports programs that combine professional coaching, life-skill training, and nutritional support for children from low-resource backgrounds, including rural and urban slum communities. Its mission is to empower children and create meaningful opportunities for growth through the transformative power of sports.
